About Marciela

Marciela Rodrigues received the 2020 Golden Minerva Scholarship for $10,000 and currently attends the University of California Berkeley. She was brought into the world with many difficult circumstances. Her education journey started out rocky, in grade schools she was legally illiterate and suffered from dyslexia. She persevered and demonstrated a fearless attitude and independence. She learned how important education is and how she would never take it for granted. The Minerva Scholarship helped her achieve her dreams for a bright future.
